Kershaw Street remains unadopted and, in 1997, the residents decided to build a new road surface after completing important remedial work. The local community have kindly supplemented the contributions of the four frontages to reach the total of £5,500 and now we have a lovely road with kerbing which should serve us for many years to come.  more...

WHY are we so surprised by a company like Virgin using bad language? Over the last 20 years, our so called watchdog has allowed such profanity to flourish on television. It is, a clear indication that, as a nation, we are bankrupt, both economically and spiritually. (Galatians Chapter 6 v7, "Whatever a man sews so shall he reap").
