A SINGLE mother is facing a repairs bill from Bolton council for nearly £800 after fire damaged her council house bedroom. On New Year's Day, Lesley Richardson of Weeton Avenue, Breightmet, woke up to to find her gas wall heater on fire. Many of the recipients would say it was the best Christmas present they received.
